ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE

Although the management plan will address organizational structure in more detail, it is initially anticipated that the the Mississippi Hills Heritage Area Alliance will be composed of:
*a Board of Directors: with an executive committee (chair, vice-chair, secretary/treasurer);
*a Management Plan Task Force: responsible for the development of the Mississippi Hills Heritage Area Management Plan;
*a Management Plan Consulting Team: a top-notch multi-disciplinary team consisting of heritage tourism and economic development experts charged with the development of the management plan;
*a formal Advisory Council: consisting of representatives from various state and federal agencies, local officials, business leaders, etc.;
*a Partners Program with a range of organizational categories, including: National, State, Regional, Community, Corporate, etc.;
*Members: the Alliance will have a range of individual and family membership categories designed to fit every budget;
*and, over time, a full Staff (needed positions will be outlined in the management plan).
